The flight to Paro is one of the most exciting flights in the entire Himalayas. As the plane flies north towards the Tibetan border, the green wall of the hill known as the Gateway of Bhutan continues to rise from the plain. The white river flows through the valley, waterfalls pour down from the forest slopes, and the huge snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas to the north rise into the sky. When the plane enters the Paro River Valley, peek through the window and you will see Paro Dzong and the Ta Dzong (watch tower, now converted into a museum) overlooking the Paro River. Representatives of Euphoria Tours and Travel will receive you at the airport and after completing all formalities at the airport you will drive through the beautiful Paro Valley to your hotel.
